New Business Sales Manager
Job Purpose:
This role will be to drive sales growth, identify and secure new customers and build profitable long term relationships. Initially focusing on the sales of electronic information to medium/large organisations, often bespoke services and solutions.
The Person:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious team member. You will enjoy working with others but also on your own initiative. You will be highly motivated, self disciplined and with a real desire to succeed and give whatever it takes to do so. You can work to deadlines, cope well with pressure and take a calm approach to problem solving.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Plan, prioritise and own personal sales activities to achieve agreed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Actively generate, qualify and follow up sales leads through cold calling, internal and external referrals, networking and desk research.
Follow through all sales leads from initial contact to close.
Ability to multi task, handle a heavy work load and work to deadlines.
Essential Candidate Requirements:
Sound education with solid numeracy/literacy skills.
A background and understanding of the automotive industry, preferably in the repair/maintenance sector.
Measurable and successful field sales experience ideally at least 2 years in the Automotive market sector.
Effective verbal and written communicator able to build relationships at all organisational levels
Highly customer focused and used to working with internal teams
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to adapt and influence in a rapidly changing environment ability to think on ones feet.
